It's perfect for him and I love the way it worked out. Good luck. Naming is one of the toughest things about motherhood! I'm looking forward to hearing what you guys decide on.
Neither of us like Charles Samuel/ Samuel Charles. We both feel like those options are just too plain, plus if we have another boy we might like to use whichever name we dont give this boy to him (they are both family names). Plus, we have kind of an unspoken rule that one name needs to be on the SSN list, and one should not. That way, if they grow up and want to be normal, they can use the name that a bunch of other people their age have and if they grow up and want to call themselves something that no one else is called they can do that too. Oliver and Sebastian have both been heavily debated because of this. Adaline is a pretty rare name, but her middle name is Sarah, of which there are millions.
Right of Passage, you chose all of my DH's names, except Charles Simon.
