January 13th Check In - Page 2
Wombjuice - I'm so happy for you, how wonderful! Thanks for sharing the news and get some rest!
Kaitlyn - You are MY HERO!! Stay strong mama, trust your body and nature, and don't let anyone bully you or frazzle your nerves.
HCM - Hurray for dropping babies, I hope yours found a good position!
I asked my mom to bust out the acupuncture needles to see if she could get some action going. I've been feeling wiped out today, so after the needles I took a nap. Felt a bit crampy and the baby is very wiggly but nothing dramatic happening yet... The only place where I feel comfortable is the toilet, I wish I could sit there all day. Anyone else feel this way? I'm so "ripe" down there, it's a bizarre feeling...
Congratulations Wombjuice! Can't wait to hear more details. Seems like we're running almost a birth a day on here, anyone know how to get in the que for that?
So I've been bugging my husband for weeks to get our Wii Fit set back up. During my last pregnancy we received it as a present from my MIL and that night after an hour of play I went into labor and had our daughter (note: I was 1 day shy of 42 weeks). So I've had it in my head that maybe that's all I need is a little Wii Fit activity get the ball rolling. So last night we finally got it all together and I played for over an hour (in 20 minute intervals) and had some awesome contractions!...which didn't last. No labor, still pregnant. Try again tonight I guess. I'm not really able to get out for walks so this is best activity I can manage right now.
Montessorimama, I am a lot like you in that I feel most comfortable on the toilet or in a similar position. There is so much pressure down there that I half expect my water to break every time I stand up or bend over. It was like this with either of my previous pregnancy, but I've been feeling that way for weeks. Plus the baby's head is so low and engaged I can't see how this can continue much longer but I guess we'll see.
I did my NST last week with my 8 year old AND 13 month old in tow. I thought the 8 year old would help watch the 13 month old, but the little one was so determined to push buttons on the machine. He somehow turned off the "Record" button and at least half an hour was lost without capturing the data!!! So that ended up being a long time in the NST chair, as they wanted to see enough "surges" / activity from the baby. I'm due on Tuesday... First LO came a few days early, last LO came a few days late. Who knows!?!
