Cats and newborn

Hi there ladies.

I'm due next week God willing. we have two very clingy cats that follow us everywhere, sleep with us etc. i was wondering if i should lock the bedroom door for first couple of days/weeks when baby arrives or not (and make them get used to it now)? i'm probably just being paranoid and i need some opinions and experiences on this matter please.
