Bfeeding question

I'm nursing my 3 month old every 2 to 2 1/2 hours for 10 mins on 1 breast. Is this normal?  Wondering if he should be stretching out times between feeds in order to feed longer for hindmilk...

Some babies never really stretch put their feedings. Both my babies are pretty happy eating every 3 hours or so. If your babe is gaining well with good poops I wouldn't be too concerned about the gore milk hind milk ratio.

Babies to tend to be more efficient eaters as they get older though.

I had something like this in the begining too. I think it's because you have such good supply and your baby's got a good latch, he can just get what he needs quickly. As long as he's gaining and making dirty diapers, sit back and enjoy it!

After the first day DS2 would just do 5 minutes on one breast. All the nurses would ask me if he nursed for 10-15 minutes on each side... but they weren't concerned when I told them it was only 5 minutes. When I got home I started pumping because I was so painfully engorged. I managed 5 ounces in five minutes those first couple of weeks. No wonder he was only on 5 minutes! Now at 5 months he nurses 20-30 minutes on one breast.
