Sign the petition to get breastfeeding back on Sesame Street!

Lani of the Boobie Time blog started this awesome campaign. Sesame Street used to show videos that including breastfeeding, and they replaced them all in the '90s with solely bottle-feeding images. Lani's hoping to restore the balance.

She's also hoping a breastfeeding celebrity might agree to appear on the show — wouldn't that be perfect? Does anyone know if Beyonce's nursing Blue?

Feel free to share the petition around — it's already getting a lot of air time on various sites and on FB and is up to over 27,000 signatures. I hope Sesame Street listens!

i'd be more than willing to send a letter, would love to see more breast than bottle on ss!

am not sure how much weight is given to online petitions as they are harder to verify.
