What are your experiences with Joplin, MO CNM's and Freeman Maternity Center?? :)

I am looking at possibly having a CNM deliver my baby at Freeman Maternity Center in Joplin, MO.

Here is a list of possible midwifes all CNMs:

Janie Burleson

Sue Lazarus

Becky Mitchell

Abby Mutic

Susan Myers

What are your experiences with these midwives or friends' experiences?

Also, what are your experiences delivering with these women or other midwives in Freeman West Maternity?

Hi Mac!
I am actually a L&D nurse at Freeman. :-) Becky Mitchell works at AFC, which is a clinic that only accepts Medicaid and self pay patients. Janie actually does not see patients in an office anymore, she just takes call at the hospital for deliveries. Sue and Susan are in an office together, and Abby is in an office. we have a new CNM also who is with Abby but she just started so I know nothing about her.

Unfoetunatly, the way our call schedule works here there is no guarantee that York midwife will be there for delivery unless she is on call or she has agreed to come in when she is not on call. it is unfortunate but also the only way they can have time for a family/life etc outside of work.
