How many eggs are okay for 8 year old?

Our pet hens just started laying eggs and we have gone from vegan to ovo-vegetarian.  My 8 year old son loves the eggs.  Today he ate 4 fried eggs plus an egg in coconut custard.  It makes me happy that he likes the eggs so much, but it makes me wonder if this much saturated fat and cholesterol is okay for an 8 year old.  I know it's good for babies, but is it still good for kids?

I've just been reading up about oils. Everyone is told that saturated fats can lead to heart disease. Turns out there's no evidence of that.

There's a literature review at the Archives of Internal Medicine http://archinte.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/full/169/7/659 that states, "Higher intake of -linolenic acid, eggs, meat, milk, polyunsaturated fatty acids, saturated fatty acids, total fat, and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and vitamin E supplements and prudent and western diet patterns were not significantly associated with CHD" CHD is coronary heart disease

Here's a little bit of egg info: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2005/04/13/egg-myths.aspx
