I had a relatively uncomplicated, untraumatic (to a reasonable extent) emergency c/s in March of 2010. I do not feel that I suffer from enough c/s emotionally-related trauma that this is indicative of negative feelings from having a c/s.
There are still times when my c/s area is uncomfortable. If I have to, for instance, open the silverware drawer by pressing both of the child-safety latches downward simultaneously, I get a pretty lousy-feeling twinge every time.
I have noticed a bit more of this kind of thing if I'm tense or wired up about something, but I attribute that to overall muscle tension as opposed to something directly related to the surgery.
I no longer feel the odd "pulling" sensation I did for the first year or so.
I would guess I don't have adhesions, but perhaps I just don't know exactly what those are all about.
So, compadres, what gives?
