Customizing "New Posts"

Is there a way that a user can manually select or exclude certain forums when you click "New Posts?"  It seems that a majority of new posts are the DDC groups, and not being currently pregnant, as well as many of these groups being closed social groups, it would be easier to find content of interest to me, maybe in forums I've not noticed before, without having to wade through all the DDC posts.  And without having to click every forum one by one.  Any tips?  Thanks!

Unfortunately, no, the New Posts filter just brings up all the new posts.  I do not know of a way to customize it to exclude the DDCs.

Bummer.  This might be a good idea to bring up to the tech crew, as I think it might help pull people to other forums if you could selectively "hide" certain results.  Thanks for the answer!
