So the upstairs will be our bedroom & DS's bedroom, but DS (3yo) has always slept with us & there isn't even a bed in his 'bedroom' so I guess it's his playroom. Really it's just an unused room.
Downstairs is the living room (also where DS usually plays), kitchen, bathroom, dining room (also the entry), and another bedroom.
Basement is half finished, the finished half is kind of like a den/workout area.
So the downstairs bedroom is the room I'm really not sure what to do with. The main level is where we spend most of our time and it would be nice to be able to overflow into this room when we have company (aka lots of kids running around!) I thought it might be nice to put the desk in there (it's currently in the living room), but I feel like DS or his friends will end up messing with it/breaking it if it's in a less-supervised room. It would be cool to have that be the playroom but he already has a playroom upstairs and he really doesn't play at all anyway.
We don't have much furniture and our rooms already kind of look empty since we just don't like having a lot of stuff. IDK. I guess I just can't visualize what to do with this room that will be completely empty and no extra furniture or anything to put in it! An indoor playground would be awesome but the room is just too tiny & we couldn't afford to buy that stuff anyway. It's a really strangely shaped room so hard to fit much, really.
WWYD with it? What do you do with bonus rooms in your house? Eventually if we ever succeed in TTC more kids then we'll need the extra bedrooms...
