DirtyHipeGirl, we are using Enki for 2nd grade, which combines Waldorf and Montessori methods. We focus more on the Waldorf elements, which include movement, music, seasonal poetry and songs, and main lessons revolve around story work. It's been an awesome program for us. We used Christopherus for first grade (Waldorf-inspired as well) and enjoyed that too but will be using Enki for K and first with my youngest.

The Enki materials are currently written only up to third though. I have learned a lot using it so feel comfortable going with a more purely Waldorf curriculum for third, Live Ed! And supplementing with Enki music and movement from our current package.

Hope that helps! I feel really fortunate to have the choice in which materials I bring to my children. It is so much more fun learning this way than the way I had to do it in school. Standardized curriculum is really boring, in my opinion.Â
