I already feel ready for the next map. I don't feel a whole lot of movement on this one, but I think I may have been too vague in some areas.

Not really vague about moving, I don't think-- I didn't put anything specifically about selling the house, though, since I felt strongly that putting images of it on my map might cement us to this house. I have been working on stopping calling it MY house and MY property and "home".  I did put, on this last map, things about finding our new apartment easily, and things like "we'll be there" and a picture of a moving truck and the name of the state we will be moving to.

subbing!  Looking forward to doing this year's map.  Last year's has manifested pretty nicely and in some really interesting ways.  

I love the decluttering time, physically and mentally/spiritually/emotionally.  For me, it's a time to just lay everything to rest for a while, to stop worrying and just be.  Gosh, I really should do this more often.

You do not begin the map until that time.  Not a smidge earlier.

Ideally you will have the map completed within 3 days which is the New Moon phase of the Waxing moon.   However, you need the whole time before the quarter moon that will give you about 7 days.  If you need more time then you can take it up to Full Moon which give you basically two weeks.

Everyyear that I have done the maps and that is now going on 16 years, I've done it in the first 3 days.  However last year I completed my map just before full. 

Thanks for the details! So I googled Treasure Map but mostly got pirate related stuff for kids LOL I googled Vision Board and got what I think looks like what we're doing here.

But if anyone has examples to share or tips on what to include or what medium to use - that would be great!

Hello all,

Exciting!! I am not sure how much and in what forms my TM manifested this year (still working I know).  However, I have to say I've come a long way in terms of understanding since making my first TM last year.

I am very excited for this year, but I have a declutter/prep related question....

--I was unsure, but somehwat wanted to TTC and put it on my TM from last year, but I am very conflicted about career which I am trying to reboot and whether I want to try and concieve.  Heart says pregnancy, mind says you need to focus on money.

Anyway, so I've been clearing my 3 yr old daughter's closet and mostly donating old clothes, but I also feel I should keep all the stuff that could be used for the second baby if I did get pregnant by any chance, especially stuff that isn't gender specific.

First thought that comes is, I should chuck it all away, and take pleasure in buying new things when/if second one arrives.  Hanging onto stuff is only going to want make me pregnant so I can use and finish the stuff!  This is a big concern, especially, because I have a lot of her stuff, and toys, etc....and takes up a lot of space in a 3 room apartment which we are sharing with my parents in law... Logically I should organize and keep some of the stuff.  The heart says, you want a boy next anyway, just buy new things.. But then mind says you don't have a lot of money to spare to buy new things,, save what you can.....especially what if you have another girl....a lot of it could be re-used.

I know I should be  looking more inward, I feel very lost right now...Intuition and logic are completely mixing... :(

PS. Mind and Heart concur that if I had a decent job right now that paid sufficiently well, I would probably be trying really hard to get pregnant..But which comes first :(

Can't wait. This will be my third time Tmapping and I do see some progress each year. I think it helps us focus our goals and helps us ask the universe for help getting there.

I don't know. I hope not!

On 2010's map, I put pix of the actual house on there, and then I had the thought that putting the house on there might bind it to me, y'know? So I didn't put that on this past year's one. I put lots more things on there about moving, about finding our new apartment, things about the state we plan to move to. So far, nada. Cross fingers, though.

You know....for the first time in ever, I'm pretty decluttered and clean, because the house is for sale. What else can I do to prep? I guess I can organize more, and try to declutter more. Hmm.

I was looking at my map the other day contemplating what had manifested, what had not and trying to look at possible manifestations in different ways.  From the middle of the map going towards the top I put a picture of a big ol' tree.  I had taken the tree from a magazine and it was split on to 2 pages - most of it on the left side and then some big branches were on the right.  Then it dawned on me...the tree in my back yard split this past summer in the same fashion!!  WILD!!!!!!!

Whelp, I had this intense urge to get on here and post on the 2011 TM thread, but low and behold, a 2012 prep thread has begun.

I must say, 2011 was one of the most challenging years I've ever had in my entire life. Yikes.

I am SO read to de-clutter and have a fresh TM in March... I am in need.

I have been thinking about this the last few days.  Does anyone want to share about ways you declutter other than the obvious physical decluttering of clearing closets, cleaning out drawers, purging "things"??  I will be doing lots of that, and waking up on the new moon to a shiny, super clean, purged house is one of my favorite things about treasure map time.  But I feel like what's more needed (for me) this year is a more esoteric decluttering...I dunno, like maybe a purging of beliefs or expectations.  I feel like I have a sense of it, but am sniffing around and haven't yet stumbled on exactly what I need to do re this; that's why I was hoping some of you might share what ways you are "decluttering" in deeper ways than the physical stuff.

I do know one thing I need to do is a kind of decluttering of my 2011 map.  What I mean is that that map was huge with TOO MUCH and so much I didn't get done.  While on the one hand, there are surely many things on there (I swear, it was like an enormous, gigantic "to-do" list for the year) that I should go ahead and just do between now and the new map, I think there is just so much on there that I need to spend some time looking at what I wanted and decide which things I really do want to do, and which things it would serve me to just let go.  Maybe I will actually pull them off the map, not sure about that.  There are just only so many things I can do, and trying to do too many things has been too overwhelming and guilt inducing!  I have determined not to think AT ALL about the next map before the new moon, but I do think it needs to be much more simple than my current map!

Oh, is it that time of year already!  Yippee!

I did this a few years ago and it was a really wonderful project...and my life has changed SO much since my last time around.  I have some very real goals that I'd like to meet for myself and my family.  I can't wait to do this again!

Tracy, I love your blog. So I read Neptune enters Pisces!! Up until this point had a hard time mentally gathering information for what I want from my map. Is it is okay if the treasures I wish to attract are not material in nature? I was considering painting my hopes for what 2012 will manifest, along with a few much needed items for daily living.

Sure.  They don't have to be material.

But remember, we may THINK we know what is going to be on our maps...but when it comes time (aries new moon) do not be surprised if we end up with something totally different.  The energy shifts right with that moon.   It is the new day, new year, new beginning so anything is possible.
