One of my twins developed her "voice" but sadly it was a high pitched scream. This went on for months driving me, a crazy AP momma, and DH insane. Nothing worked; soothing her, saying no, whispering, ignoring, redirecting...on and on. Well today I found it, THE HOLY GRAIL of screaming children!!! My friend told me that her mother used an old Indian trick to get her to stop screaming as a baby. Here it is, when ever baby screams you blow air gently in their face and when they stop you smile or coo at them. It totally works!!!
