Very fast birth that was intense. My head is still spinning but our family feels complete and we are so  in love! Thanks for all your well wishes and encouragement when I felt like I would be pregnant forever.

Our daughter was born by candlelight, in a horse trough next to our woodstove at 3:50am on February 16th.  My dear husband stood by me while I did what I needed to do through my 4+ hour labor and 45 minutes of my body pushing her out.  Our 4.5 yo daughter slept through the whole thing... even through the hour of primal roaring.  We haven't picked a name yet, haven't even really talked about it.  But that will come with time.  I'm so grateful to have been granted a quick homebirth, after the almost 50 hour ordeal of my first daughters birth which ended in cesarean.  It was intense, to say the least.  Womyn seriously rock!
