Please tell me you experience with upper lip ties. Did you get them clipped? Why/why not? If not, was your baby able to nurse? Did you do therapy or somethign else to help baby nurse? If you did get it clipped, did it help your baby nurse? Did you just have lip clippled or tongue too?
I just want to hear some stories...trying to bring my DH around. We confirmed an upper lip tie with an ENT today, I'm not sure about a posterior tongue tie (dr said no, but, I want to get another opinion on it). DH did not want to clip since the ENT could not garuntee it would improve breastfeeding...so I'm wondering if anyone had their baby's clipped and it did help or if you chose not to how you managed nursing. My little one is still removing little to no milk from my breasts and has no suction (according to the LC - she does click constantly and cannot seem to keep the breast in her mouth)...the lack of suction lead the ENT to believe that the clip ould "possibly" help DD nurse effectivly...or at least better.
