Anyone else insanely tired? - Page 2

OMG there are no words to describe the depths of my exhaustion at this point.

Here's the worst thing. I'm SO TIRED, and yet, I can't  sleep at night. I wake up every 2 hours to pee (this is just gonna get worse innit? LOL ! I don't remember it being this bad with Thing #1) and then I cannot CANNOT get back to sleep.

I wanna yell "hey if I'm gonna feel perpetually hung over, I don't even get the fun of drinking before hand? THIS SUCKS"

LOL! I feel the exact same way about the hung over thing. I feel hung over all the time! It sucks!

The hangover analogy is so apt.  I was trying to explain it to my husband and I was like, "I just feel like I'm about to get sick all the time".  But tonight it felt like a hangover and not sickness.  I had a headache, mild nausea, and was sooo tired.  And of course, we were at a Super Bowl party, so everyone around me is drinking merrily while I feel like I just finished a night of binging.  Not cool.

For me, I imagine this to be how Mono must feel.. which is a bit odd, Ive never had it and yet I feel I am experiencing it- I actually think that is why it took me so long to confirm my pregnancy- the first 9 weeks I just thought I was coming down with something from all the air flights and exposure to weird foods/places..

:)

My first pregnancy was SO different- I felt totally 'normal' and not even pregnant until I was somewhere around 20 weeks.. I had no symptoms and this pregnancy all I want to do is sleep, sleep and sleep some more.

I "third" the hangover analogy! That is what I have been telling people when they ask how I am feeling. Its like a hangover without the awesome party the night before :-P This pregnancy I have not been nearly as nauseous as the other two, just felt "bleck" all the time, and tired, and sour stomach, and body aches (maybe from being in bed all the time). Just bleck :(

But..... I am 12 weeks today, and the last 3 days or so I have actually felt pretty good. I'm still tired, but not "run a marathon" tired, and the thought of having a little caffeine like a mini-coke or some tea to assist me through the afternoon doesn't make me feel sick to think about. I still feel mildly hung over in the evenings when I still have hours to go before bed, two cranky kids, and dinner to cook, but if that's all the "bleck" I have left, I can take it!

Yes. Tired.  Any time after 5pm is dicey as to how long I will be awake. It was the same with my DD, and since she was my first I could nap a lot more than I can now.

I'm almost at 12 weeks, and as of last week I've felt a huge difference in terms of energy.  For the most part I feel like my normal self again.  Last night I even stayed out until 10:30!  Then fell asleep on the way home.

I go to sleep between 10pm and 11 and have been getting up around 9.  That gives me between ten and eleven hours of sleep a night.  If I get that, I can function without a nap during the day.  That's a lot of freaking sleep though.

If I didn't have a 2 yr old who was a nightowl and up till 12 or 1am..  I could EASILY go to sleep around 8 or 9pm most nights and sleep until 9 or 10am, but right now I am lucky to get more then 5-7 hours a night, some of that is my son, some of that is that I wake up all the time coughing slime up.. :(
