What should I have for my Birthday dinner?

My friend is offering to make me anything I want for my birthday dinner.  I have no idea what I want.

I need some ideas!  (no shellfish, no tree nuts.)

If you have a link to the recipe, that would help!

We eat laksa lemak for special occassions. Normally we get the sauce from a local restaurant. I am trying to recreate the recipe on my own but haven't quite figured it out (it's really hard when we compare it to the restaurant one that is probably made with shrimp paste and chicken broth.) You may find a recipe and find it much tastier than we do because you aren't judging it by something unattainable. Essentially it's a lemon curry sauce.

Thanks.  You just reminded me about Veggie Pasanda.  Mmmmm

The dinner has been postponed so I have more time to come up with something.

I just made the ancho chili lentils from "The Post Punk Kitchen" blog for my husband's birthday and they were amazing. We had The flourless chocolate raspberry cake from veganbaking.net for dessert and it was divine!!

Still haven't decided!  Thanks for the replies so far.

Any other food suggestions?
