OK, I know most of don't even have AF yet, but, I'm just curious about tracking cycles/fertility to reduce chances of concieving...like when AF is back will it ever be regular again? I've been pregnant and/or nursing and/or on the Merena for over 5 years...with the exception of about 9mos before concieving DD....my cycles were crazy during that 9mos. So I wonder if they will be crazy now??? I absolutely can't do hormonal BC but I'm not sure I want another baby right away either.
PP tracking cycles?
I've gotten my AF back around 7-9 months PP, and knew before each time when I was ovulating. It worked pretty well for me.. besides conceiving #2 (he was a accident due to me ovulating a week earlier than expected... haha!), and this time around was on purpose while tracking my cycle.
I want to prevent conceiving again until I at least get my degree I've been working on for the last 4 1/2 years! Then hope to have one more, my last, between my B.S. degree and going to grad school! (I should get my degree around summer 2013, if all goes as planned). I can't do hormones either. I am *hoping* DF will choose to get the V after our last.
AF returned 13 mo PP with ds/ 12.5 mo PP with dd...so breastfeeding will be our primary bc for the first year. I need to learn more about NFP and be better about condoms (during fertile times) to prevent a 4th baby back to back...assuming we don't want 4 kids 5 and under :) The hard part is "tracking" those first couple cycles since they're usually wonky. That's how our #2 was conceived too!
