Wow!!!!   Congratulations!

Good day yesterday.  29 points and was not hungry at all even with my points lower than normal.  Weird how hunger comes and goes.  Some days I have moments when I could eat anything and everything and other days when I can't be bothered.

Grocery shopping planned today.  Filling the fridge with my favorite veggies and fruits and planning for a good weekend. I really want a nice weigh in next week.

That is the best feeling, when you have lots of your fav veggies and fruits around.  Way to plan for a good weekend!

Oh, I need to plan!  Weekends are the hardest for me.  Dh is home, the kids are home, we are all feeling relaxed and celebratory and I slack off.  I decided that I was going to toughen up and be better about saying no.  Tonight I made pizza for the kids and I skipped eating it, not because I didn't want to, I just want the weight loss more.

Good day here again.  I am in a good place right now and am keeping to my plan with little effort.  I ate 28 points today, low again, but I feel fine and have no real hunger.  I seem to have a good handle on my diet plan for the moment.

I am not exercising much which will change as it gets warmer.  And I haven't had a lot of free time -- 8 week old baby, sick child this week and dh had a little procedure that knocked him out for the day today.  Just keeping tabs on all my people has been keeping me busy.

Here's to a good weekend for everyone!

Weekends are the hardest for me, too.  And, my weigh in is on Monday, so I try to really watch it - but easy, it's not!

Tonight I'm going to a friend's house.  She hired a yoga instructor to teach a small group of us.  My friend made veggie soup (no points, I think) for everyone and 3 of us are on WW, so there will be lots of zero and low point snacks.  Yeah!

Wishing everyone a great weekend!

Did well this weekend -- 33 points yesterday and 31 today.  I had originally planned for more points, but I don't seem hungry for them.  I am hungry for dessert, but I don't think that is the same thing.  winky.gif  I could really dig into some cake right now.  Not sure why I have such a hankering for sweets.  I have eaten really well - lots of veggies.  I know I am getting a ton of good nutrition.    Which goofy body part makes me crave sweets?

Ah well.  Kitchen is closed for the night, maybe a mug of tea later.  I have high hopes for a good weigh in on Tuesday.

*bejeweled - congrats on the loss!

Awesome RuthieGirl. You knew at the beginning of the week that you were going to lose. Great to set your intention like that. thumb.gif

Ruthie - great job!

Thank you!   I was kind of expecting a bigger loss, but I know that slow and steady is the way to go.  A gentle 2-pound loss a week means that I will meet my goal late summer.  I am looking forward to buying some teeny jeans next Fall.  orngbiggrin.gif

bejeweled and Ruthie girl -- congrats on your weight loss!

I lost 1.8 pounds this week and met my 5% goal.  Woo hoo!  Oh, I feel so good.  My jeans are so loose and it keeps me motivated.  I think my success comes from consistently tracking and walking 45-50 minutes every day with my dog.  Thank goodness for him, or I would not be exercising like I am.

I went out for Mexican food tonight and ate 15 points in one meal.  Whoa.  But, I didn't eat much today and still have 7 points to use.  I'm not hungry at all, though, so I guess I'll just lose those points.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Hi, I'm so confused about pasta. Do you measure it dry or cooked? I got Barilla plus protein penne and its supposedly a power food, but how many points is one cup of it? 21?!

I mean, how much is a small bowl of spaghetti with meat sauce? Like 11 points? dizzy.gif

Measure the pasta cooked.  1 cup cooked is a serving (corresponds to 2 oz of dry pasta). For points, if you have the calculator, use the nutrition info on the side of the box.  :)  If you don't have the calculator, let me know and I'll calculate for you...
