Okay - Super Bowl last night and I'm not interested in even trying to figure out how many points that all was. Nothing terrible, but a little bit of this, little bit of that. I'm guessing all in all it was about 14 - 18 pts or so. Not too bad. I made stuffed mushrooms and potato skins from the skinnytaste site and my h made buffalo wings and bacon wrapped scallops. We also had cream cheese w/ jalapeno jelly and crackers and some homemade guac. I had sparkling water to drink.Â
Â
Today I'm back on track:
Â
B - Coffee w/ nf creamer, sprouted english muffin half w/ almond butter and fresh mandarin orange
L - frozen healthy choice thing and apple
S - leftover stuffed mushes (1 point each!)
D - asian glazed chicken drumsticks with rice and broccoli
Â
I have an hour and half jazz class *jazz hands* tonight, too, which is HARD so I'll get some good activity points for that. I'm still about 7 points short. I'll figure something out. I did get the stuff to make a ww friendly carrot cake, if I have time I may make that. I like dessert!

Â
Oh ladies, we got hit with an awful tummy bug this weekend (that dreaded norovirus that's going around) and man. Â Awful! Â Not how I was expecting lose 4 lbs! Â I bet once I start eating again, it'll regulate. Â Probably mostly water. Â But ugh ugh! Â
Â
Good losses, to those who lost, and bah to those who didn't. Â We'll get there, one week at a time!!

Â
Thanks Bejeweled and Ruthiegirl, I really appreciate it! His passing was quite sudden, he had a heart attack in his sleep. We were just making plans for his 68th bday. oh well, such is life. Unfortunately all that stress now translated in me reaching for comfort food and sweets. I'm too afraid to weigh in tomorrow :( I will give myself another week to try to do better.
Â
Good luck to all this week!!!
Â
Â

Hope you are all feeling better. Â I hate, hate stomach bugs of any kind! Â
Weigh in day for me. Â I am down a pound...was expecting more. Â I put a new battery in my scale this morning, maybe it had been inaccurate all this week? Â Ah well. A pound is a pound. Â
Â
Â
Start date: Â 1-31-2012
Starting weight: Â 198
Current weight: 197
Goal weight: Â 150
Â
Â
Today:
Â
B -- oatmeal, walnuts, banana, tea (7)
L -- red lentil soup, lots of vegs, avacado, tea (8)
S -- toast, egg, peanut butter, tea (9) Â
D -- big dinner! Â rice, bean, cheese burrito, beer, popcorn
Â
Â
Huge snack today. Â I have been so hungry. Â I am eating enough, at least I think so..it's not like the weight is falling off me. Â My baby is nursing, but not any more than normal. Â I just have a big appetite today. Â On the bright side, we don't have any junk in the house, so I am making good food choices. Â Honestly, if there were cookies in the house, I would have eaten a dozen by now. Â
Baby-cakes, I hope you're feeling better already! Ruthiegirl, I think I found the pound you lost, because I have one plus this week
.
Â
But I'm not complaining, given how I've hit the sugary things this past week-end, it's a miracle it's only one lb I gained! Tomorrow is another day and I'll try to do better.
Â
Anyone else had a good weigh in?
Today didn't start off very well. Yesterday a woman I worked with was fired, escorted off property and made a big fuss - everyone was shook up, so this morning doughnuts were brought in and a napkin was put in front of me - sometimes you just have to go with it, y'know? Anyway I took the smallest one I could find and just substituted that for what my planned breakfast would have been. I don't even really like doughnuts and it certainly didn't keep me as full.
Â
So
B: Coffee w/ ff creamer, stupid doughnut I didn't want and a banana
L: Frozen thing with fresh mandarin oranges
D: Swedish meatballs w/ egg noodles and string beans
Â
This leaves me with 6 points to play with. I'll probably have a snack or something, but maybe not. I go straight from job #1 to job #2 today and if I'm not home I tend to not snack. Maybe I'll eat an extra meatball or something.
Jumping in to sub. and and say hello real quick while the baby is napping! Hopefully will have a few minutes to read through the thread
Â
I just joined WW online the other day in hopes of having some accountability so I can lose this baby weight, as well as the baby weight from my 9 year old!!
I packed the weight on in my last trimester because I was diagnosed with pre-e and was told he'd most likely be premature, so I ate and ate and ate to fatten him up as much as I could! Not junk so much, just a lot of food! Well, thankfully I stayed stable until I had him at 38 weeks
but now I have some weight to lose! I got down to 20 pounds over my pp weight in the first 4 weeks, and then got stuck. When I first saw what I had for points it seemed like way too many... until I plugged in a couple days worth of food and saw that I was going waaaaaaay over! Wow, so yeah. I need a total overhaul!
Â
I'm hoping to lose about 70 pounds. Baby steps though!!!
Yesterday turned out fine. It's amazing how little you eat when you really only eat when you're hungry.
Â
Today's plan is:
Â
B: Coffee w/ nf creamer, banana, half sprouted english muffin w/ almond butter
L: Frozen thing and tangerine
D: Baked potato soup and salad
Â
7 points leftover that I will probably use to have a bigger portion of soup. Haven't really been needing or wanting snacks lately.
Welcome Vermillion! Â Â
Â
Today is going much better. Â I don't know what was up with me yesterday. Â I was so insanely hungry!
Â
Wednesday:
Â
B -- oatmeal, walnuts, banana, tea (7)
L -- red lentil stew, lots of veggies, brown rice, tea (9)
S -- toast, egg, orange, tea (7)
D -- chicken, potatoes, salad, nice dinner Â

Hi WWers! Great work to all you "losers"! ![]()
Â
I too am doing the online program, thought he past couple weeks I've fallen off the tracking wagon and consequently not lost.... I need some motivation to get back to it!Â
Â
My main tracking issue is eating with kids. I hate to waste food and I have a 3yo and an 11 month old. Often, I'll not even make food for myself: For example, today at breakfast I ate their leftover ww toast crusts and scrambled eggs along with bits here and there of what they were having. Then I think: "I don't know exactly what to track, I'll just not track today." Any one have tips to get past this?Â

What has worked well for me is kind of backwards. I plan what I'm going to eat, track that at the beginning of the day and then I eat to what I've planned. I don't like to go in and add or change anything and so far it's been working really well. I don't think I'd be able to keep up with it if I ate and then I had to run and track. I agree that it's hard to waste food, but my h and I have been saving the kids' uneaten bits for either leftovers or the chickens. Or you can always just cook smaller amounts and if the kids are still hungry they can have a piece of fruit or something.Â
Okay. It's Thursday! I work a 9/80 schedule so I'm off tomorrow, very happy about that. Yesterday was...so so. We've had some pretty heavy stuff going on and to relieve some stress we met at a bar after work. I had one small gin and tonic which I didn't realize was 5 pts until this morning! ugh... I didn't stay to eat though and had only one so luckily I should still be okay.   So today I will be sticking to points very closely.
Â
B: same old, same old. Coffee, 1/2 english muffin w/ almond butter and some fruit
L: Frozen thing and an apple w/ sparkling water
D: Crock pot Santa Fe chicken w/ rice and tomato salad
Â
I do have two little lindor truffles that I think are 2 pts apiece that I have hidden in my desk just in case!Â
