So I just had one of those moments and wanted to share it, and thought it would be fun to hear others as well. DS and I are hanging out in the playroom when he runs out into the kitchen. A few minutes later he comes back in with a kitchen towel stuffed into his shirt and said "Mommy, baby in my uterus too. The baby is sad, she wants to snuggle with me on the pillow." And then he goes and curls up on a pillow and says to me "Baby not come out yet mommy, she's too little. She can't come out 'til she's a big boy like me." It's so cute to see him processing the idea of the new baby. He always calls the baby "she" though I'm not sure he has a very clear conception of that being a girl because when asked out right if the baby is a boy or a girl he answers either way depending on his mood.
Anyone else have some cute stories to share?
