Do you have curtains?

I love curtains but have not hung any in our new home because ds became very mobile during our move. He's 17 months now. How long until I can hang him & expect the pulling on them to be short lived? There are enough things in our house I have to keep him from already. I don't want to add another.

My youngest never bothered the curtains.  She gets into a lot, just never curtains or blinds.  With my oldest we only had blinds, and she never bothered them either

I wish! Ds LOVES the blinds. They are cheap verticals & we had to tie a bunch of them back to keep him out of them.

I think blinds are more "fun" to play with than curtains - they move a lot, make noise. I don't know - I think it's probably individual. We've always had curtains (I despise blinds) & ds has never bothered with them, even the ones right by his bed except to open them up.

That's a really good point about the noise, i hadn't thought of that. Maybe I'll try 1 window & se what happens. LOL I just realized in initial post I said "hang him" instead of "hang them".

My DD LOVES the curtains. 

She hides behind them and we say "where is DD?" and she jumps out and says "Here I am".

She also likes to run behind them and jump out to say boo.

We just let her. If she is pulling too much on them we tell her she can run behind them but to not pull them. 

She is 2.5 now...but she has understood this since 12 months or so. More reminding then, but still able to grasp.
