This morning i miscarried. Well, not at home but at a condo- we're on vacation. It was very painless, have had some mild cramping since. I have some nettle, raspberry, oatstraw and one other her i've forgotten tea brewing. I have done some research and see that st john's wart will be good for clearing hormones. and Shepards purse in case of too much bleeding.

if any of you have had miscarriages at home (no hospitals) then please share your experiences. thanks!

I had a miscarriage a couple of years ago.... it was around 9 weeks. My miscarriage was actually very labor like. I posted in the Loss forum (in the what to expect thread) and also over on my blog.

I miscarried while on vacation. It took a few days and was like labor. I was 8 weeks when I started spotting. I just rested until the bleeding slowed. I never even thought to take anything special. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss Mona.

I miscarried at home once as well. Mine was long and drawn out...a few weeks actually of spotting/cramping, then the actual miscarriage day which was labor(ish) and then spotting for another week or so.  I hope it ends soon.

I am so sorry for your loss, Mona. hug.gif  I've been through a m/c as well, it is a very hard experience.  Mine started at home, but then was finished the next day with a dnc at the hospital. I wish I would have just let my body do the work though, I do believe the medical intervention was unnecessary (but I was scared into it while in an emotionally vulnerable state).

Thanks to everyone for your support and thoughts.
I have appreciation for how fast and painless the experience was. I am still bleeding but all seems to be well, and i expect to bleed for at least a few more days based on what i've read.

much love to all of you on your journeys. xoxoxo

So sorry. Mine was in July. I was only 5 weeks or so, so I didn't need a D&C. It was all over in about 2 weeks, with the worst of it (cramping) being the few days leading up to it and about 4-5 days after. I wish you all the best. My sister miscarried about 10 weeks last year, but was unaware until it was discovered in an ultrasound after she experienced red bleeding. She did have a D&C. Wishing you a very quick recovery physically and in your heart.

Mona I am so sorry. My first pg was a miscarriage which took a while to resolve. I bled on and off for three or four weeks and thought I was done and had super heavy bleeding which ended up needing a d and c ( I was hemmoraging)
I am glad I waited it out as the bleeding helped me grieve. Just be prepared for more bleeding perhaps. Again so so sorry.
