How long do you wait to clean up the table?

I am looking at the blueberries that have been sitting under my table all morning.

I always do it right away, because if I leave it once I think it will be too easy to say wth and leave it again. I might be tempted to leave blueberries under there though until they dried up and I'd get them the next morning when I vac. Gross I know, but that's me.

I have that same mindset. "In an hour when the rice dries, it will be much easier to sweep."

Most of the time, it is as we need the table for the next meal and sweeping is done after the kids are in bed. Yeah, I am lazy. I do clekear dinner right away, breakfast and lunch dishes linger longe

I'm incredibly anal about cleaning up after meals.  But food on the floor belongs to the dog so that's never an issue here!  We don't usually eat at the table anyway, we're more -chill in the living room and hang out-kind of people.

It depends.  I clean when I am stressed out.  Among other things.  So people that know me really well know that if my house is spotless and I just washed my hands for the 18th time in an hour, I'm going through some stuff.

We eat in the living room as well, but we're transitioning to the table as daughter will be getting some "people food" sooner rather than later, and we're dedicated to the idea of the family meal.  After we eat I do tend to at least rinse the dishes right away and get them into the dishwasher, although I'm known to eyeball the pot and declare it needs to soak overnight...  which is code for "No way am I dealing with that right now".  Dishes are generally done before I go to bed though.  I hate waking up and finding dishes I left for myself.  I think it's rude of me to make myself start my day that way.  The floor is also swept nightly.  And the table is cleaned before each use because I have yet to find a way to keep my cats off it.  They leave the counters alone, so I pretend I don't see their furry butts on my dining table all day, and just sanitize it before we eat off it.
