Does the uterus sink as the day goes on?

When I awake in the morning (I'm 12 weeks 4 days, 3rd baby) it is high, almost to me belly button. By after noon, it is between my belly button and pubic bone (last time I checked was about a week ago). This is the first time I've ever noticed this.

Just talked to my midwife abut my uterus. She said the my full bladder in the morning is making it higher in the morning (I figured that). And the deep squats I do during the day help things settle into my pelvis. She said she is not worried, but she will be in town Wednesday or Thursday and and come check things out if I want.
