Wish I still lived in FB and could meet with you, but we just moved to florida.. I would highly recommend www.atlantamidwife.org Aka Charlotte Sanchez, she is amazing! I have worked with her for 3 years.

Check out http://www.mommysecretsonline.com/  They are in the process of opening a storefront in Buford, GA which is not too far from Flowery Branch. They are going to offer child birth classes and things like that. I hate to say it but that area is not very "natural" minded so you may have to travel towards Atlanta for those things. And, I don't recommend delivering at Northeast GA Medical Center. Hope this helps!

Sorry about that! Try this www.mommysecretsonline.com I'm not really sure about yoga classes or mommy groups in that area. You might try searching in the Lawrenceville area, it's not too far from there and it's closer to Atlanta.

Northeast GA Medical Center is a very "medical" hospital. Lots of interventions. I'm not exactly sure what their cesarean rate is but I'm sure it's pretty high. I delivered our first there. I have a friend that delivered all 4 of her kids there and she said though each birth was different she had a terrible experiance with the hospital all 4 times. I guess it just depends on wether you want a really medical birth or a more natural birth. They're not very breastfeeding friendly either. Anyways, these are just my experiances, I'm sure there have been poeple that have had positive experiances there. I delivered our second at Emory Midtown in Atlanta and it was a world of a different experiance, very positive.

I don't know if you go to church or not but that might be a good way to get plugged in with some mom's. I know some churches have MOPS programs (mothers of preschoolers). www.mops.org

Sorry I can't be more help!
