Midwives delivering at Tampa General Hospital

I'm moving to Tampa mid-pregnancy and would like to deliver at TGH with a midwife.

The only thing I've been able to find is Women's Health Care which seems good but would like to hear some personal feedback. I'm also open to any other midwives that deliver at TGH. Thanks for the help!

Why are you set on TGH?

There's a great freestanding birth center in Tampa called Labor of Love.

Florida born: This is my 2nd pregnancy and I had a great experience delivering at a hospital with a midwife here in Dallas with my 1st. I would be open to a birth center but my husband is completely opposed. We used to live in Tampa so I'm familiar with TGH and that's the only hospital I would deliver at.  Since I've already had a natural birth I'm muchote confident this 2nd time around but I definitely want a midwife managing my care.

Oh I don't blame you about TGH!  They're the best around considering the cut-happy (what's the c-section rate there now, 40%?) St. Joe's Womens or Take-Your-Luck UCH where you might come out with the wrong leg cut off our something!

My mother and husband have both had surgery at TGH and the facilities there are excellent.
