Ever been kicked out of an establishment? - Page 2

Lol!

Not to my recollection. I fell asleep in the library bean bags once (I was at Uni, working two part-time jobs, and generally doing long hours and being incredibly busy). The librarian woke me up and told me not to fall asleep because it was "against policy", and I politely mumbled "Oh, of course, sure" before passing out again. When she woke me up the second time I realised it would be wise to leave before I fell asleep again and incurred serious wrath.

Which isn't really that salacious an anecdote, now I think about it. And I wasn't even kicked out, technically. :p I was once kicked out of my classroom at school for having a temper tantrum, though. I wrote a short story which was featured on children's radio, and the teacher was going to play it to the class. I was extremely shy about my work being public, as a kid - I was always the kid covering her work with her arm so the other kids couldn't copy, and refusing to read my stories aloud to the class. So I was humiliated and LIVID that my teacher would dare to play everyone my story without my permission, especially as it wasn't a very good story - we'd only had a short time to write them, so I aimed for "finished" instead of "perfect".

So anyway, I threw an enormous tantrum and the teacher said my behavior was "disgraceful" and evicted me to the cloakbay, where I lay upon everyone's schoolbags and howled and bellowed, and he played the tape anyway. Then the caretaker came along said said "What's wrong, have you been naughty?" and I wept "No, Mr RANDALL's been naughty!" and that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. :p Nobody liked Mr Randall. And where is he now? In jail for pedophilia. But I digress... Anyway, I still vaguely feel I was in the right in that instance. It's not like hearing my lame starfish story was vital to my peers' education, now was it?

Long ago, I was at a dance club with my brother and his girlfriend.  A guy I danced with tried to put his hands down my pants, so I told my brother.  My brother immediately grabbed the guy in a headlock and started choking him.  I thought he was going to kill him--I was screaming at my brother not to kill him.  Then the bouncer kicked us all out, so my brother and this guy start fighting again in the street.  But fortunately they quit soon and everything was ok.  One of the scariest days of my life.

*sigh*

I got kicked out of a McDonalds when I was about...15, I think? I'd met this guy the night before and we arranged to meet at the local McDonalds the next night. I had my friend and my sister with me, and he had two of his friends with him. Then, a couple more people I knew happened to show up, and a bunch more he knew showed up, and...to make a long story short, we were making a lot of noise and an employee came over to check it out. He found me and the guy necking in a corner booth, with about 20-25 people hanging around, and we had about two soft drinks and three small fries between the lot of us. So, we got kicked out.

That guy lasted about a week in my life. He was a major mistake, and I wish I'd never met him...even if he was quite good-looking.

Oh - and my sister and I got kicked out of a gift shop in the ferry once, because we got into a nasty sibling fight and almost knocked over a bookshelf. Sooooo embarassing. That was also when I was about 14 or 15, and my PMS induced fits of temper were legendary (even though I hadn't ever heard the term PMS at that point).

I've never been kicked out of a bar, but I've very rarely been in a bar, and most of those occasions have been very sedate.

I've been kicked out of a bar (under aged, but no drinking that day!) and at a Morrissey convention. I was soooo drunk that night. They made me sit in the alley until I puked, with my date, who had never been drunk before HAHA! and then made us leave.

Oh, and then also an 80s club, but it was my friend that was drinking under aged, not me. Who gets kicked out for an apple martini? yuck!

I have never realized that I have actually been "kicked out" of a place before for my behavior lol ... Sheepish.gif

And then a month or two ago, I was sorta kicked out of a toy store for no good reason.  She didn't exactly force us out, but we sure weren't welcome there.

My cousin and I got kicked out of church on Christmas Eve for trying to light someone's fur coat on fire with our Silent Night candles.  I think we were about 12.

I got kicked out of the post bar on Camp Red Cloud in South Korea for dancing on a table bag.gif

Out of a bar for being underage...my friend's sister was a bouncer at the bar and totally knew I was underage.  She let me stay for a while, and then kicked me out.

Out of a coffee shop while trying to buy a cookie....this one was not my fault.  The coffee shop was in the same building as my mom's retail store.  The couple who owned the coffee shop were miserable and had a big feud with my mom over several things (including her using the garbage in the back which she paid for with her rent!) but mostly her just being in the building and leasing the space they had wanted to expand into with their coffee shop.  Anyway, I worked at her store and we (my coworkers and I) used to go to the coffee shop anyway because it was the only place close by and they had really good food (and the miserable people who owned it weren't usually there and the actual staff were really friendly).  One day I went in to buy a cookie for myself and a coworker, and was standing at the counter, and the woman owner went up to her staff member and whispered something about telling me I wasn't welcome there!  I said, "excuse me?"  She said "You aren't welcome here".  I asked why and she said "because of your mother's business".  I asked her what that had to do with me, and she said something miserable so I called her a miserable old cow and left.  I plotted revenge including buying mice to release in the building...but then calmed down.  They were miserable enough that the owner of the building refused to renew their lease and they were forced to move their business.

Oh, almost forgot about the time we got kicked out of a bar at a stagette.  One of the girls in our group was lippy to some other girls, then left to go home.  The other group of girls decided to try to pick a fight with my friends, and we informed the bouncers but all got kicked out anyway.

I was asked to leave a Denny's lounge when I was eighteen as draconian alcohol laws in the area would not allow a person to sit at the table in a restaurant that served alcohol after x hour until they were twenty one. We were there to see a friend's band and everybody at our table was drinking soft drinks. He saved the world from me taking a sip of a Pepsi.ROTFLMAO.gif

Even at the time I had quite a good laugh as the laws about such things were far less strict in the Bible Belt where I had spent my teens than they were on the Left Coast, a reality I found quite shocking.

I spray vomited all over a Denny's bathroom once and they asked our whole table to leave because they weren't sure which one of us did it.   I got my group tossed out of a bar and it caused a huge scene in the parking lot.  I was so drunk I had no idea what they were fighting about.  $1 tequila sunrises are ALWAYS a bad idea.

Do Denny's still have lounges?  I used to hit up one in Monterey CA, and last time I was there the lounge was gone.  Sad face.

OMG I just realized that I actually HAVE been kicked out of somewhere before! Senior year in high school I got out after 4th period and, combined with minimum days on Wednesdays, that meant I was done with school at 11:30 that day of the week. So a friend and I walked over to Thrifty drug store for an ice cream cone and the lady wouldn't serve us because she was sure we were cutting class. We looked at her incredulously and I said, "You won't serve us ice cream?!? I didn't ask for a shot of bourbon in it!!" Then she made us leave.

So, yeah ... you guys were getting tossed from bars for being drunk underage, and I got thrown out of a drug store for ... attending all 4 of my classes and trying to order an ice cream. lol.gif

escorted by security guards from mall for staging two person protest with small banner against the war in iraq.

Let's see...

Got asked to leave a bar on St. Patty's day because I wearing underpants over my fishnets,

Kicked out of a pizza place for busting in and throwing up in their toilet on my 21st birthday,

Kicked off of public property in front of the Target Center for leafleting because a different group made a mess ( we cleaned everything up just to prove we were nice people anyway)

I'm really surprised I haven't been kicked out of more places, but I tended to hang out with club owners when I was in my days of drinking. Now it's more likely to be for protesting/leafleting. What can I say though? I look like I'm 12 most days and super innocent :D

At least you all can remember all the times you were kicked out of places. Lol.

My crowning achievement was probably when I was kicked out of Spain . . . you know, the country. redface.gif I was black-out drunk, but the lovely Brit who was backpacking with me at the time, and who was locked in with me when I woke up in jail, was nice enough to explain that we'd tussled with the police over them accusing us of stealing (we didn't steal anything). Apparently it was mostly my fault. They were nice enough to let us go with the understanding that we would get on the next train and go be someone else's problem.

Most recently I was kicked out of a gas station because some guy made a derogatory comment to my radical feminist best friend. She started lecturing him and for some reason he responded by taking a swing at ME (I dodged). Actually, in retrospect, he probably did it because I was laughing. The owner of the station told all three of us to go buy our gas elsewhere.

These days I get kicked out of an establishment about once every two months, either for doing political activism or, more often, because above-mentioned radical best friend causes trouble. For the activism, getting kicked out is generally an accepted part of the activity. With my friend, well, lets just say the boys will have their work cut out for them if they want to embarrass me in public. winky.gif

Oh, getting kicked out of the polling place BEFORE I voted back in '04 was a good one too. *sigh* I guess I just never learned how to behave.

I was threatened with being kicked out of a billiards bar several years ago for kissing my then girlfriend because it was "a family place." Minors weren't even allowed in that late at night. Once one of the bartenders came back with a big smile to "keep an eye on us," we decided to kick ourselves out.

Also, I'm pretty sure I was kicked out of a hotel once when I was a teenager due to a impromptu drunken party. The details are hazy, though. I'm not at all social when sober and from what I gather,it was quite the party, so I must have been trashed.

kicked out of a NOFX show for breaking a bunch of stuff in the bathroom... or rather daring my friend to do it.  kicked out of a suicidal tendencies show for taking a boy into the girls bathroom.  plus various bars, long stories.  im retired now.
