Any one else currently breastfeeding?

Anybody else?

I'm nursing my 3 year old and 1 (almost 2) year old, though my 3 year old rarely nurses and I'm limiting the little guy to once a day in these early weeks.  We tandemned through my sons pregnancy too.  Considering I've never had a child wean during pregnancy, I figure they'll both continue through...though DD MIGHT wean for good just because she's about there and DD1 weaned at 4.5 years, soo....always possible.

I'm still nursing 19 month old DS2.  If all goes well (keeping my fingers crossed!) this will be the 4th pregnancy I nurse through.  I tandem nursed DS1 and DD1 during my pregnancy with DD2, just had a single nursling through the others.  DS2 is nursing less than the others were at this age, though, so I'll just have to see how it goes.

Does nursing during pregnancy ever get uncomfortable for you?  I feel really blessed to have it very easy throughout mine...UNTIL the last 6 weeks or so. Then I get super sore!!!!  Thankfully it goes away with the birth and then I have NO discomfort with the new nursling, so I suppose it's a fair trade-off!  But it seems more common for women to get sore early on.

Sometimes it gets a bit uncomfortable, I guess psychologically more than anything (the "ughh, get OFF me!" feeling redface.gif ).  With DS1, I had to set some limits toward the end of my 2nd pregnancy to keep my sanity and preserve our nursing relationship.

I am nursing DS, age 2 and am noticing I'm already feeling sore during that initial latch.  It gets better after that, but he's easily distracted at this age and often pops on and off.  I'm hoping things don't get worse!

I'm nursing Jude who is 2.  My oldest son weaned before I got pregnant with Jude.  So I'm not sure how long I'll continue nursing.  I would very much like him to be DONE! I'd like to get a few nights sleep without nursing before October!

I'm nursing my DS, age 2.5, a few times a day.  But I think we may be nearing the end.  There doesn't seem to be much milk left and he isn't nursing to fall asleep any longer.

Awesome to see so many others nursing!  It's so funny, because "locally" it seems like whenever I talk about nursing through pregnancy, people say things like, "You can do that??  I didn't know that was allowed!"   Umm...just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I lose the ability to think for myself and make my own educated decisions! LOL

I am still nursing my 22 mo.  We just night weaned!  I am a bit nervous as to how this will go.  My oldest nursed until he was almost 3...we shall see.  I am not sure if I want to tandem or not.

I'm also nursing my 2.5 year old son.  This is my first time nursing through pregnancy because I'm pregnant with my 2nd child right now.  I'm hoping that my son will continue nursing throughout the pregnancy.

HI all, I still BF my 2.5 year old, though it's mostly at night or in the morning before we get up. We only BF when lying down in bed! I have had two recent pregnancies and losses and that cut down the sessions quite a bit. Hoping to be able to tandem nurse.

Just wanted to add that I'm still nursing 20 mo DS2.  I am really trying to limit it to 3 times a day.  Hoping to keep this little bean growing strong even with the nursing!!

Still nursing my girl, at over 2.5 years old. I was having a bit of soreness on latch as well, which prompted me to take the pregnancy test. We're still nursing a lot, and I don't have plans to wean immediately, but I would really like if she would wean on her own before long. I really want a bit of a break before baby #2 gets here!

Me! I'm nursing both my boys. Ryan (almost 4) only nurses just before bedtime, and Tyler (18 mos) is still nursing quite often.

Me! I am, quite literally, currently breastfeeding, as I have a 2yo in my lap right now. wink1.gif He still nurses all the time, and especially at nap- and bedtime. I think it would be cool to tandem nurse, so I don't really care if he weans during pregnancy.

I am!!!! Although my 26 month old nurses only once or twice a day now....

I am, my 20 month old daughter still nurses maybe 10x/day (and night). I am considering night weaning but haven't committed to it yet. She's actually been pretty good lately through the night- maybe letting me sleep 5 hours or more before having about 3 nursing sessions before morning. But still, I can't even figure out the logistics of being 7 months preggo and nursing in bed.

Im currently breastfeeding my 1 year old.. Its not uncomfortable but for some reason I get sick to my stomach while hes nursing. It didn't happen with my other two so its a weird thing. Hopefully it cools down soon.

2 1/2 yo DS is still nursing.  It hurts!  The latch hurts, but it continues to hurt throughout his nursing.  It doesn't help that he's super wiggly, and wants to switch sides every 10 seconds because I don't really have any milk anymore (haven't for several months now).  I've been trying to limit it to 3-4 times a day for a while, but I think I'm going to get a little more strict with it now.  I don't really want to tandem, but I don't know if I'm going to be successful in weaning him before the new babe comes.  We'll see how it goes.

Its so good to see mothers that are extended nursing like i am. I have 3 children. DD1 7, DD2 6, and DS1 just turned 4. My DS is still nursing. Mostly first thing in the morning and right before bed. He also nurses some duing the day depending on day and if he is tired. I do not plan to wean him, but my hubby is a little weirded out by my 4 year old son nursing. I dont plan on forcing weaning him but I am not sure he will still be nursing when baby comes. I did tandem nursed my girls (they are only 17 months apart) and i loved it.
