My 2nd is 14 months old and nurses 6-8 times a day. My boys are 26 months apart, and tandem nursed for almost 11 months.

Hey Simone! I think I might know you from TBW, I'm moonflowermom.
Anyway, I am SUPER SURPRISED to find myself part of the October 2012 due date groups, lol. I have a seven month old daughter and thus far the big stress about this pregnancy for me is being able to nurse as much as my DD needs. I doing a lot of things preemptively, so I am crossing my fingers I can successfully nurse her throughout this whole pregnancy and then tandem with her and and newbie. Glad to have this group as this is pretty much my number one worry about this pregnancy other than having a healthy baby.
I'm still nursing my 25 month old. She nurses about 4-6 times in 24 hours. Always before bedtime, nap time and upon waking, as well as during the night (usually 1-3 times). We TTCed when she was a bit more than a year and couldn't get pregnant, because she was still nursing so much. We gave up after 8 months or so, figuring that it just wasn't time yet. Then we moved across the country and put the baby plans on hold so I could go back to school. Of course now I'm pregnant, totally unplanned. Isn't that how it always works? ;-)
I plan on continuing to nurse my DD, unless I end up finding it ridiculously painful. I would definitely consider tandem nursing.
I thought you aren't supposed to take a lot of those teas while prego? I haven't looked into it much because I remember reading that on the boxes of the ones I had been drinking. One had a very stern sounding warning.
I'm nursing my almost 14 month old. It seems milk production is already starting to decrease. For several months we were getting a 6 hour stretch in at night without nursing, but for the past 3 nights she has been waking about 6-7 times in a 8 hour period. I'm thinking of night weaning. Before the positive test I was having some aversions, but doing better now at almost 5 weeks.
