AFM- I was feeling kind of crampy yesterday too, so of course I seduced/attacked Dh last night when I got home from my meeting.  I only had EWCM when I would check for the last couple of days but this morning I sit at the computer (after I go to the bathroom) and it literally feels like it is pouring out of me.  Then again I am not sure if it was cm or leftover spermies.  I guess I will have to wait and judge by the rest of the day.  I am actually really hoping I am dry today that way I can hope I o'd yesterday.  I didn't have a temp shift this morning so I don't have much hop though.  Dh is getting tired of bd'ing everyday, I don't know if I will even be able to convince him tonight.

John16n33 - I hate when DH gets tired of it. 5+ days in a row is tough. If I had to guess, it doesn't look like you O'ed yet. Good luck BDing, you may have to do all the work ;)

AFM - I'm sure I O'ed by now, but I'm not sure I agree with FF or TCOYF. They both say I ovulated the day BEFORE my positive OPK. In either case, we're in good shape as I impatiently wait for these two weeks to pass...

I was researching OPKs and I feel a lot better now. Today is my third day of having an elevated temperature, which means I ovulated on Sunday. However, when I took the OPK it was negative. But I found some in some women the LH surge lasts less than 24 hours. So I probably tested too late, or too early. We BD'd anyways, and have been for a while (By the way- I am so sore it is not even fun anymore).

So, I am not giving up hope! It will be so hard to wait to test until Valentines day!

Thanks for all the positive thoughts.

Since I'm in Vegas with my mom visiting my family, I stopped by the dollar store and got some cheapies, yesterday I tested twice because I was hoping a test line would magically appear 

... But obviously didn't. Then I decided this morning I would test, get my BFN and wait till AF shows up (I've been feeling crabby and uncomfortable since this morning). Well, I took a cheapie today and my mom and I saw something, not a "squinter", a little bit of color was definitely there, but not enough to get excited. So I'm thinking it was a faulty test because I got it from the dollar store or I just have to wait till tomorrow morning to use my last cheapie. 

I'm sooo tempted to go get more, but I'll wait till tomorrow morn.

Doularebekah, good luck with the real ovulating! Thanks for giving me your thoughts on my chart situation. More on that below. Good luck, though with the BDing while worn out. This goes for you, too Lisa about being sore and sick of BD. It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it, right?!

LindsayDawn, you and I are in exactly the same boat with the OPK turning positive after the first thermal shift already happened! I am also not too worried about it, as I mentioned earlier, but it's super interesting to me! There seem not to be a lot of charts like it on ff. Doularebekah asked if it has happened to me before, and no, but on the other hand, I never got a positive before last month and now I think I was stopping too early with them. I have no doubt about the timing of mine this cycle because, as I mentioned, I'm pretty crazy about my POASing. I did do some research today (and I'll do a little more tonight and chatting with a new midwife tomorrow) but it seems like LH is more reliable than BBT in pinpointing. Also, I continued to have substantial temp jumps over the last three mornings, not to mention plenty of EWCM, cramping yesterday and even a teensy bit of spotting. I can officially say I felt confident overriding ff. I set it to OPK and it picked yesterday. Will you please move me to waiting to know, doularebekah? Thanks!

Hi All, I'm a newbie.

Quick story: My DH and I have 5 beautiful girls from previous relationships. 2 girls are his, 3 are mine, so yes as you can imagine, there is pink/purple and girls things everywhere lol. Their ages range from 14 to 5 years old and crazy enough, we have decided to add one of our own to the bunch!

This is our 3rd cycle of TTC and I am CD11 today. AF due 20th Feb.

The last two cycles we BD every other night, this cycle we have decided to try every night.

I'm not charting or anything like that at the moment, just seeing how the first few months go. I've read so much on the internet about TTC and it is all quite daunting and sometimes very confusing...one person says this, another person says that, one doc says this, another doc says that....OMG who would have thought TTC could be so confusing on the brain lol (my 3 girls were all wonderful surprises so I've never done this planning thing before).

I'm wishing everyone good luck with their TTC, their already succesful pregnancy or their baby already born.

P.S. My DH will be soooo glad I'm doing my pregnancy talk here, might give him a little peace and quiet from listening to me lol.

MsKez...   Welcome! I saw you on the "older" thread to, so welcome to both. :)

AAM...   My basal temp this morning was up, like way up. But when I took my temp later, up to an hour later, it wasn't even 98 degrees! WTH?!?! I seem to still have EWCM, and my OPK was positive this morning, so I do not think I have ovulated yet. I actually believe I am ovulating today, or did so this morning. That high temp just has me thrown. I usually get extra low temps on the day of ovulation. This cycle just keeps getting stranger and stranger.

I read up on CM and how it changes through out your cycle. I have started to take more notice of mine but I think it will take a while before I get use to it. So you think you've ovulated this morning...YAY, this is the time we all wait eagerly for each month, then it's the horrible 2WW....arghhhh I've realised those days waiting for your AF due date seem to take FOREVER lol.

MsKez- Welcome and goodluck!

AFM- My temp jumped more today and went over the cover line.  It would be more over the cover line than it was but TCOYF moved my cover line up from 97.3 to 97.5 overnight.  I still think it should be 97.3 though which meant it was on the cover line yesterday and today it was 97.8.  I think I either O'd Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning when I had that gush of EWCM.  When I checked my cervix yesterday morning it was high, soft, and open.  Yesterday afternoon for the rest of the day I felt bone dry but when I would wipe (TMI) there would be some creamy cm-and my cervix was low, hard, and closed.  This morning I am still bone dry with no leftover cm and my cervix is still low, firm, and closed.  The only thing is I still never got a positive OPK I took them Tuesday twice (but once didn't hold my pee long enough), and one yesterday morning.  Hmm...oh well I guess I will just keep watching my temps.

jpack - weird, right? I'm undecided about whether I believe the OPK or temps. The reason I tried the OPK was because each month I have TWO thermal shifts and I wanted to know which one was ovulation.... but according to the OPK and CM, I probably ovulated right in the MIDDLE of my two shifts upward... Oh well. I'll just keep BDing it up and one of these months I'll get my baby.

MsKez - I know what you mean about all the pregnancy talk, it's nice to have a place to take it. Especially if you're keeping it a secret from the rest of the fam. Good luck to you!

EDIT: Since writing this post, FF has changed the date I O'ed to two days after the positive OPK (and a full day of no CM). Whatever.

I got a BFN on the cheapie and a BFN on a target OPK, so I guess hormones are done for the month. Now I gotta wait for AF (due before Sunday) and hope for BFN OPK's till I'm back home on the 14th.

So yeah, AF is due on the 12th, how awesome would a Valentines BFP be? Although I doubt I can wait to POAS for that long.

Also, thinking about due dates- it's possible for a 10/11/12 baby as well, if we go early, which is possible since I'm tiny.

I am so glad I can post all of this stuff here, and not bug my DH about it. It's been a tough week for us, one of our good friends passed away on Monday.

So it would be really nice to have some good news to bring to the table, right?

My cycle started on 01/05, which would've given me a 10/11/12 due date also. Hope you get that BFP on 02/14, I get back home on that day, so I'm hoping for a BFP OPK after that day.

Cassandraz - I wouldn't count yourself out quite yet. The times I have been pregnant, I didn't test positive until after I was late. Still rooting for you!

AFM, I thought I had O'd but this morning my temp was low. So, still waiting to O, I guess!
