100/month Challenge - February

Don't worry if you haven't finished January, you've got a few more days. 

 

But if you did finish, or want to join us now - Welcome to the Feb 100/month declutter challenge. It's a short month - what can you get rid of?

 

You can join these at any time and take a few months off when needed. 

 

I'm starting the month off with a 7 item credit from January, so I've got 

 

93 to go!

38 baby items to a friend - SO happy they are finally gone.

 

55 to go. I'm off to a good start in February.

 

I'm trying to get rid of some of DD's shoes that she's out grown but are in good shape.

And I have another batch of baby items to go to the same friend.

Optimistic that DD (the hoarder) has decided to donate her outgrown princess and dress-up wear to her teachers daughter. Just need to get her to pack up a bag. At least she is willing.

3 pairs of outgrown shoes to Masel for her children - now it's your clutter

8 items to nice resale shop, including 2 old suits. Can I buy new clothes now?

I have a box ready to go with

2 Christmas presents that were duplicates

4 shirts from Christmas that were just not right for my family

3 random toys we don't need

4 pairs of pants

 

DH and I have taken on a leadership role in a group we belong to. Unfortunately this has meant bringing 3 rubbermaids of stuff into our house. I have no clue where it will go. Some space will be opening up in our outbuilding but this is too delicate to go out there. I guess I'll have to do a grand shift before it is all settled.

am impressed with your 100 a month challenge... congratulations, you still have one day to complete it !

am lagging a bit on the 2012 in 2012 .... but have 4 rubbermaid boxes that I'm planning to tackle .... hopefully tomorrow afternoon (except it feels like a month that I've told myself the same thing & there's always something that comes up to eat up my time)

2 empty glass pill bottles I don't know why I saved. It was hard to throw them out. I wanted to ask a friend tomorrow night if she could use them. But they went to the recycling bin.

I'm done. That makes 100 and I hav e 2 bags of baby clothes to go to a friend tomorrow. I'll be off to a good start next month.

... + I like reading postive decluttering stories ... hoping it will suddently spur me on and make it an easier process for me ....
