Fish Oil/CLO and Vitamin E...how do they affect birth?

After doing some reading, just wondering if anyone has experience they can speak of regarding the way taking these supplements has affected their birth, if at all.  I'm mostly concerned about the blood thinning properties.  Did you find that it had a very noticeable effect on you in that regard?  Did you take them ALONG with something like alfalfa in the late months?

I took CLO throughout my last pregnancy (along with drinking a RRL, alfalfa & nettle tea regularly), and bled much less than the first time, when I had a pretty bad PPH (caused by poor third-stage management, IMO). I haven't heard anything about vitamin E's blood thinning properties, but I do know that it's supposed to promote a firm attachment between the placenta and the uterine wall (I was prescribed it after being diagnosed with a subchorionic hemorrhage, and this is common protocol to help keep the placenta attached)--so you're not supposed to take it in the third trimester, because (the theory goes) it can make delivery of the placenta a problem. Which I suppose could cause bleeding in itself. Not sure whether there's any solid evidence for that, though.

I have heard the same about vitamin E and was more diligent about it in my 1st tri and avoided it in my 3rd for that same reason!
