M.A.M.A.s Midwifery?

Wondering if anyone has worked with Mairi Breen Rothman &/or Erin Fulham at Metro Area Midwives? I couldn't find much in the old threads.

I'm not even pregnant yet, and my midwife search is going nowhere -- Evelyn isn't practicing, Anni's apparently moving, SB doesn't have well-woman appointments til March...my husband and I were actually seriously entertaining the thought of commuting back and forth to NY to our old midwife for kiddo #2, which is just absurd!

We're in Baltimore county (Pikesville area).

In my research there was not a CNM who would come as far as I live in NE Baltimore, I assume you'd fall into the same range in Pikesville.  This birthing situation really sucks right now.  There is a CPM who may come to you, PM me if you want that info.

I am fairly certain that MAMAS does not come up that far for births.  However, they are wonderful- there are some threads and comments about them, with more detail, so do a search for more info :)

I really hope you find a wonderful midwife for your birth.  The situation is tough right now :(

What about the birth center in Arnold, MD? I know it's a bit of a drive, but it's the only thing I can think of right now. It's SO WEIRD that MD is SO SILLY about homebirths/midwives, etc. My OB told me the insurance they pay for their practice is out of this world. It's so sad :(

M.A.M.A.s  does not come up that far, unfortunately. They have a pretty tight radius local to them, or so another midwife told me :( There's a practice up near Delaware and they do travel. That might be your best bet, unfortunately.
