I'm working with an RE, so the tracking of the pregnancy is a bit more intensive in the early stage. I've had my hCG tested at 10DPO, 12 DPO, and 15 DPO, and it was 91, 271, and 842, respectively. Holy beta baby! I found this website:
Turns out my numbers are high even for twins! However, I had an ultrasound three days before I O'd and know that I only had one follicle in the works. I googled unusually high beta and found a lot of scary articles concerning molar pregnancies and abnormal chromosomes, so I stopped googling. Before I quit, I did find several journal articles that found a correlation between hCG and female fetuses. Bananas!
I'm trying to be present in the moment right now and enjoy the fact that things are going really well!
How about you guys? Anyone else working with an MD to track their betas?
