I have 13moth old twins and life and family pulls me up to Great Neck, Long Island about ever 6 weeks or so for usually a week. I am staying with and helping out my grandmother up there. I really ned to find some childcare that i have have come in house with us so that i can focus on some of the other tasks i need to do for her.
i know it is a strange situation, since i will need it for a handful of days, maybe as much as a monday - friday but then not again for 6-8 weeks. Â I would love to find one person that i could get used to, but i know that is asking a ton. For right now i need to focus on just my next visit and figure something out fast! I am scheduled to be there next week, the 6th to the 10th and finding someone for a few days of that would be a big help. not sure of hours yet, i could be flexible as long as i got a chunk of time during work hours. Â also not sure if i need a full nanny i can leave the kids with or if i could make a "mothers helper" work. i do need to find someone with either twins experience or multiple infant/toddler experience.Â

suggestions as to how i go about finding this? i have never hired any childcare help, so I'm really out of my element here.
