OW OW OW OW OW...help!

Thread Starter

I am nursing my almost 2.5 year old and for the last couple weeks my left side has been hurting a lot when she nurses--kind of felt like a plugged duct, but there's not one and kind of feels now like thrush (had that one with my first)...at any rate--it's not going away.  The problem, though is my nipple is killing me and for some reason has this huge crack across the top of it.  I'm trying to let it heal, but I can't NOT nurse otherwise I will get plugged and I still don't know what the problem is to begin with.

What to do?!

ideas?

Sarah

Do you have an electric pump you could use on that side until things heal?
