Dang on the wall paint, then. It looks like so much fun!
Hey Clay-- I bet you read "Bored of the Rings" and if you did (I'm betting heavily!), you are probably the only other person I've ever met who has heard of it! Frito and Dildo indeed Remember the hickey plant?
We went to the Biltmore House today. Brought my best friend and her dd (who is ds's best friend). They've never been. Well, her dd said she'd been there 3x, but I don't know how. Maybe on a field trip or something. But S, my bestie, has never been. It was a great time! They opened up the 4th floor, which was very cool, and we also, for the first time, were able to hear the audio tour. Usually the headset is extra $$, but not this time. It was really cool! I learned some stuff I didn't know before, because of that audio thing.
And Albrecht Durer is my new favorite artist, I think. They had lots of his artwork in there. Also, I never noticed before, but the Biltmore design was based on a lot of French chateaus, and drawings of such were hanging on the walls in the room that the blueprints and model were in. I love love love pen and ink, and it's my favorite personal style, too, and these were just brilliant. Very detailed. I am going to have to do some buildings after this nature class is done! Or maybe anyway!
