OMG Icy!!!!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!  It always makes me feel so hopeful when I see those BFPs, especially when it is those moms who have gone through infertility!!!  C'mon February - bring on some more BFPs!  Do you want me to move you to recent success stories?

Congratulations, icy!

Looks like February might be repeat of the awesome successes in January. I just got a BFP at 9dpo this morning. I'm in total shock. It took us 16 cycles (including IUI) last time, and this time only 1!

Can you please update my stats to "Success stories": Pittnurse - 18PPAF, 1 cycle ttc, DD 26m

Yay pittnurse!  Awesome news....I hope some of this baby dust wears off on me!

Icy and Pittnurse!!!! Congrats!!! I was busy and not checking here for a few days, come back and 2 BFPs!!! Yay for you both!!! joy.gif

Nothing new here. Folding laundry and watching a movie during DS's nap! I love laundry day since I get a good reason sit and relax for about an hour! After recovering from being sick, DS is back to his normal 3-4 nursings a day: early morning, late morning, nap, and bedtime. Hopefully this will help me even more when I O next week or the week after. smile.gif It helps my sleep, that's for sure!

Hope everyone is having a good week! It's sunny and warm(ish) here today so we'll be playing outside after nap time.

Well DS has had a fever and diarrhea for the past two days, so we are nursing around the clock. I'm sure it's not helping my LP. I started spotting today. It seems like a lot, but at least it's still brown. That means I'm still in the game, but my hope is fading fast since this is always how it ends (or is it starting?).

ICY AND PITTNURSE! YAY! haha it feel so weird not checking in here, especially because i still feel vested in seeing if you all are able to get pregnant soon! I really really do hope! I am so excited for you guys and especially after infertility! I hope it is sticky and you go on to a beautiful 9 months!

Yay, more BFPs!!! Congrats!!! It's also wonderful to know that it can happen. :)

I said it last month and I'm repeating myself again. I had the weirdest cycle ever. Again! 30 days instead of my usual 24, I don't even think I ovulated (I'm just going by ewcm and cervix position). I'm still taking B6 'cause I'm afraid stopping it will bring the lp back to 9-10 days. Surely it couldn't just extend my lp from that to 6 more days, that doesn't sound right. DD is still nursing about 3-4 times a day and it may still be too much to get me regular and 'working'. I don't want to wean her, though, I don't have the heart. She loves her nummies. :)  Did any of you have to cut back on nursing?

Yahoo with the BFPs!  Congratulations to you too, Pittnurse08!

boomer- I don't know if I 'had' to cut back on nursing, but because of my situation wanted the best possible chance of conceiving, so I did. I cut back from 3-4 nursing/daytime and 1-2/night to 2-3 nursings/24 hours.  I am keeping my DS2 on that track in hopes of keeping my bean growing strong.

boomer - I obviously haven't conceived yet, but I did cut down to 3x/24 hrs to get my cycles regular again.  I am thinking about cutting down to 2x/day at the end of this month but hopefully I will conceive in the meantime!

Boomer-

I have not cut down on nursing DD2 to TTC.  With DD1, I was nursing a ton and got my cycle back at around 13 months PP.  My ovulation returned at 16 months and I caught the next egg.  No decrease to nursing for that.  I am wondering when my cycle will return and regulate.

I think my DD2 is a bit young to decrease nursing at this point.  Maybe if we are getting close to 2 years PP, then I may consider it.

Please demote me to WTO -- 6 months TTC, 6 PPAF

Thanks.

Hey all, for those of you who remember me, I went in for my u/s last Thursday and although we saw a heartbeat it was very, very weak and baby measured about 1.5 weeks too small. The doctor said he's 95% sure I'll m/c (which I'm still waiting to do). This is my 4th m/c since June unfortunately :( Also of interest, my DD weaned herself almost 2 weeks ago so I guess I'm not a nursing mama ttc anymore!

Good luck to everyone!!

Carmen, I don't know you but it sounds pretty sad to have to go through that and waiting to m/c....  I'm so sorry if you do lose this baby.  HUGS to you and your family.

Can anyone help me? I'm so confused!!! My son is 10 months, we're still nursing.  I've had 5 PPAFs... started to chart again this month but I'm really struggling with getting the correct temps because Grey wakes up sometimes in the middle of the night.  I only have 1 solid temp, 2 days ago 96.8, today 97.33.  That doesn't help me!   I think I found my cervix for the first time (ha, first time I actually tried to find it!).  It's very very low and closed (at least what I THINK is my cervix is closed and low).  My cycles kind of vary, anywhere between 28-45 days... average around 35 days.  When I got pregnant last time, I o'd on day 15 and tested 10dpo and got a bfp.  I did not track CM because I don't think I really have "eggwhite" ever...

So my question is: Who doesn't temp and if you DON'T, what are you relying on most to track ovulation?   I am really into this because when I got pregnant the first time, my husband struggled somewhat.... like every other day is too much for him.

Hmmmm.  Thoughts?
