slimkins- i have the same thing happening.
mary1012- they are homebirth midwives in your area that do HBACs, yet. I don't think the birth center out West takes VBACs unless you began care with them for the c-section birth and then needed to transport...not sure though. That is the policy of the birth center in Chapel Hill though. best to you!
i had a long list of things to do for those impatient mamas but somehow my post got deleted. ugh.
Freeze more food.
Chiro, Acupuncture, Yoga, Massage, Pedicure.
Re-read Spiritual Midwifery or your other fave birthy book (then you won't feel like you need to finish it after the birth!).
Hug the big kids and snuggle them up since family dynamics change so quickly with a new babe. I "missed" my oldest so much after her sis was born. She was so old and independent immediately, at 27 months and that transition was huge for me. I am trying to be more prepared this time but I know I am going to weep some tears with how the big sisters grow up overnight!
Love on our partners lots. I will want to feel real connected in labor, etc. so am trying to make sure we get our time together in these days.
Considering, expressing, thinking gratefulness and thankfulness over and over, again.
