Tightening

Hey ladies,

Wondering of mamas who have had a few babies...how soon have you experienced B/H in subsequent pregnancies? My 2nd I had them at about 17w, then I had my m/c, then with my son it was around 12-14w that I was starting to have them.

I am coming up on 10w and started feeling a little tightness. I'm not worried about m/c because it doesn't feel like that...and there is no accompanying heaviness in my cervix area. I feel really good, not listless like before I had my m/c...so that is far off of my radar. DP swears he read that b/h can start earlier and earlier the more pregnancies you ahve...which I totally get.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

It's nothing consistent (again, like m/c would be) and I am not too worried. Gonna eat an apple and drink more water....

:)

I swear I have felt BH since the very beginning this time!  Not painful or crampy, just tightening feelings. I don't think you are crazy at all :)

ETA--I am expecting #4 as well.

I am about 8 weeks and I notice it occasionally.  This is my 4th pregnancy (3rd child). It happens when I nurse or sometimes just randomly.  With dd2's pregnancy, I noticed them around 12 weeks and asked my midwife about them.  She said with each subsequent pregnancy they can be felt earlier and earlier...mostly because you know what they feel like and your body has done it before. I smile when i feel it because the uterus will be super strong by the time delivery rolls around! :)

I've felt tightening too. I wish that all that uterus exercise for the next 30+ weeks would translate to ab exercise! That's what could use some tightening!!

I did realize, too, that I started teaching dance again last night after a couple of months of hiatus. I am likely a little dehydrated, but I knew I wasn't nuts! :-)

Fella was a little scared and I told him not to worry...that I didn't feel like I was m/cing. It's not the same kind of cramping. Also I have picked up the FHR on the doppler so I know we are golden :-)
