Anyone wanna do a tax refund countdown? - Page 4

I'm snail mail too.  And guess what?  WE FORGOT TO SIGN THEM. *beats head on wall*

So I mailed them Feb. 5, they were returned to us and mailed back out on March 5.  I'm sure it'll take until April 5 now for them to acknowledge their existence and June to get a check.

HATE that moment!  But hopefully this means good news for you:  ours said April 24 online, and it hit our bank account yesterday, over a month "early!"  Good luck!

I finally checked on ours and it said 3/27.  I am not hopeful not that though because of our situation.  It would be really nice though if that actually happened...

well the date was taken off of wheres my refund.  so it will be awhile i guess.  darn it- i kinda expected that though...

So, it's delayed again for this year. Unfortunately, the agency needs time to update and test its systems. So,people might just use some cover ups while waiting for it as it'll be for over three weeks before it's processed and then there is a waiting time period after that to get the cash. It appears that a [Admin note: Link removed as promotional posting of commerical sites is not permitted.] loan would greatly help those that desperately need their refund income and are facing unknown delays. Ppft.

Just filed yesterday and it was accepted within 10 mins. All of the refund (8300) is going directly to debt

Mine was accepted on the 31st and I'm expecting a wait on the refund since I filed an injured spouse claim, but the money will go toward savings and necessities, I can't wait!!! But I have to, lol.

I filed on the 27th and I already got my state refund today! My federal is expected to show up on the 6th.

When I filed state and federal, I was told the federal would be delayed and no refunds will be sent out before the 27th. They haven't accepted my federal return yet because the forms aren't ready, and the state won't accept them until the federal does. Sigh. We so need the money NOW. Dh was out of work for 1/2 of last year. He finally started working again, but I don't get paid until the 20th (getting paid once a month really sucks) and he won't get a regular check until the 22nd. We have such a huge hole to dig out of, but between the refund and him working now, at least we will have a shovel.

I filed mine yesterday. They say they have received it, but it hasn't been accepted yet. Hopefully soon.

We'll be using our refund to pay up some bills, get some clothes line posts, fill our pantry, put some away for savings/emergency, put some towards saving for a new car, get new camping gear, and I always allow the kids a little to use for some stuff they want. I'm going to try and convince them to get a swing set this year, since they always want to go to the park, but they only ever want to swing.

I just e-filed.  Had to pay in $182 for state & We are getting back $2475 federal.  Last year it took exactly one week to get our refund!

Filed Federal on the 25th, and it hit my bank account on the 6th! Pretty speedy this year

Just got an email that our State refund was rejected.  I followed the steps & it said that I have to print & mail my state return.  It didn't tell my why , but said that I I can't e-file.  Too bad that my printer isn't hooked up.

The education credit held up our federal refund *sigh*. We filed Jan. 25th, and the IRS won't process our return until Thursday. We don't have state taxes here, so didn't have to deal with that. We're expecting close to $10k, and with a new baby in April, birthday parties, rent, bills, and debt.. I really am looking forward to that moolah!

wow, no state taxes! how does your state get away with no taxes? That must be wonderful

something new that California somehow got away with this year.................. they are having you claim your tax refund from last year as income so they can tax you on that money again

I filed on Sunday, got the email confirmation that it was accepted Monday, and the website is saying my federal refund should be received before March 2nd. 

I go the state confirmation, but didn't see when that should be expected.

Our Federal refund is scheduled to be deposited to our account tomorrow!!!  I got the state return to go through with e-file. They already deducted what we owed from our checking account!  That didn't take long!

One of the perks of living in Alaska haha! In exchange of no tax, we have a high COL.
