Ah! That is the challenge!!! I personally like the Whey Gourmet brand. They have lots of different flavours, some of which are incredible. I also find that adding pb helps the flavour a lot, as does ice or at least really cold water. If you're not limiting fruit banana or some other fruit is pretty good too.
Sent my weekly update to the nutritionist today (which I haven't done in a month 'cause my compliance has been too embarrassing) & confessed my "sins". I said how my heart just isn't into it but I'm not giving up. He suggested I remember my original reasons for wanting to lose weight as they probably still are important. So today while driving I really thought about it. Before ds I was highly motivated to lose weight to improve my fertility, between ds & dd my focus was my fertility but also on preventing gd. I think my slump right now is that those things are not pressing right now, but they are on the horizon as we do want more children so probably in 8 months we will be looking at starting to ttc again. A part of me hopes that it might be possible to conceive naturally & have a gd free pregnancy & to do so I really need to get to, or close to, my goal weight. So I guess that is my new motivation coupled with creating a great lifestyle for ds & dd so they never have these struggles.
