... My baby is all grown up.
We have a new house with a cute front and back yard and at the back we have sliding doors. The weather has changed and it's been gorgeous and sunny (but cold), so I pop him on the floor in front of the doors while I do things like the dishes or get my breakfast. ... And he's fine. And happy. And will be there for more than half an hour, no problem. And I picked him up to snuggle and he fussed until I put him back down. So now if he's not wanting snuggles, food or a nap, he's on the floor playing by himself. So happily.
I love it, but it's weird and I miss the snuggles. And the excuse to avoid housework ;)
He's usually farther from the door and on a blanket ;)
