Who Knows the Difference Between Singapore Math Standards and US Editions?

That's my question.  We've been using the Standards Edition, but when I went to order my dd the next level, I could not remember why I had chosen the standards din the first place and then asked if I had the best one for us. 

Any enlightenment on this would be great.

A huge reason the Standards Edition is chosen over the US Edition is because the Standard Edition Home Instructor's Guide (HiG) is much more user friendly. Personally, we use the US Edition and are doing fine but that is the main reason that I know of for choosing SE over US.
