eep! hug2.gif Beckily, thinking of you! Hopefully it's just scar tissue. Ditto on what's the next step?

Well. A referral. Possibly an MRI, possibly just a removal. It is a tumor, we just don't know if it's dangerous or just gross. I vote for gross all the way :) (Gross as in full of hair and teeth, mmm!)

Hair and teeth mass FTW!  Seriously though, I'm so very sorry.  That sounds so scary.  My heart sank when I saw the thread, and so I snuck off to actually come online and reply.  Any idea what the timeline is looking like as far as MRI or surgery, or how long until you know what this actually is?  Ugh, very sorry you're dealing with this...

Nope. My ND is referring me to an OBGYN  to plot these things. Hopefully soon as it's painful and.. well, gross. I want for us to just get the thing removed and figure it out from there. You know, tomorrow. But we'll see. My bladder wasn't full enough to get a good shot so they don't really know if it's attached to the uterus or working its way in the tissue. If it is, then I guess I'm only having one kid.

It's an odd doctor's visit when the good news is that I have sinusitis, tonsilitis and double ear infections :P

No, not cancer at all! Here's hoping you get an appointment soon so you can be rest assured that it's just a ball of hair and teeth!

Okay :) Thank you :)
Thank you everyone!! Now I feel good will move on to find out what's next!

Who can be down with you guys around?

Becky, I hope you get an answer soon and that its something really straight forward and lets you have as many children as your heart desires.

AFM

Aiden broke my glasses this morning while we on Skype with my mum. He was sitting on my knee talking to his gran and suddenly pulled my glasses off my face. They were really badly bent in the middle and as I tried to straighten them they fell apart. They are frameless so not an easy fix. I have had them for nearly 6 years so they are overdue being replaced. I can't even see the length of my arms without corrective lenses. I've been wearing my old pair from over 6 years ago, but they aren't quite strong enough and are giving me a headache. So now I get to choose between seeing and being headache free. We only have 1 car which DH has at work and he has crazy long hours because of workload right now, so I have no idea how we will find the time to even go for an eye exam to get a new pair. I'm seriously thinking of getting the cheapest pair I can find and then getting contacts, as both boys are always grabbing at my glasses. If I go back to contacts there is nothing for them to grab, and the glasses could just be for back-up. I will need to talk to DH first and see if our budget can stretch to contacts, as I'd want to use dailies so there is no hassle with cleaning them etc.

DS1 also hit a couple of milestones this week too. On Tuesday he finally decided to start wearing shoes. That's a big deal for us as he would always try to take them off as soon as they were put on before. That same day he finally figured out how to get down stairs by himself too. Then this morning he climbed down from the steamer trunk we use as a coffee table for the first time, and my mum got to see that one as we were still on Skype at the time.

DS2 is officially sitting up without assistance, at 6 months exactly.

Thank you :)

And awesome for growing boys! I'm so delighted with Skype! Your mom gets to see them grow up, still :)

Charlie loves eating glasses, so I can see that happening here, too! I hope you can work something out about getting to the eye doctor - maybe a new friend from church could watch your boys briefly? That seems Un-Lynish, but needs must. Or she could go with and watch them there! Hopefully.

Lyn, do you know your lens prescription?  You could order glasses.

Becky- I will be keeping you in my thoughts!

Can someone who is in the DDG on Facebook send me a link to it. When I was having a rough time dealing with the csection awhile back I deleted myself (I was dealing with some other stuff too and just wasn't in a good place mentally and being reminded of the birth I wanted but didn't have wasn't helping). When I deleted myself it said I would have to request to get back in, that I couldn't just be added. So if anyone could Pm me the link so I can request to be added I would much appreciate it!

We're going to try to get to them done tomorrow. DH has even agreed that the contacts are a good idea. Unfortunately my prescription was so old and I must admit probably not quite strong enough that I really do need to go in for a proper eye exam. At least switching to contacts will force me to get more regular eye exams. DH will come with us to help with the boys and then if Seth needs to nurse he is right there. I'll order glasses on the spot and take my contacts prescription to order online unless they can offer me an amazing deal. I know if I buy six months or more at a time it'll cost less than a dollar a day.

Stormy, glad you feel more at peace about your birth and ready to rejoin the FB group. I'm still processing my c/s nearly 2 years later. The successful HBAC actually brought up more baggage about the c/s for me, so don't be surprised if more issues come up over time.

I almost started crying at a meeting at school because teachers were talking about a colleague who was about to have a baby. They were comparing birth stories and one lady actually said, "well, as long as she doesn't have to get a c-section..." irked.gif Tuurns out she had one herself but it didn't help my feelings of inadequacy about the whole thing, even thoough the only thing that really matters is healthy mommy healthy baby, it still is a hard thing to process.

Lyn- unfortunately I'm not really anymore at peace with her birth I just don't have other issues (extended family who like to put me down to make themselves feel better) since we've moved. Without the other issues I'm more equipped to deal with the negative birth issues when they arise instead of feeling like they're going to push me over the edge. Every time I think about the next baby's birth I think of you- and I know it's possible to have a hbac.
