OK so forgive me for not knowing. I'm 41. I get that the second letter stands for hubby or son or daughter but what does the first D stand for?????? In need of uncoding here.....

I've always read it as "Dear" or "Darling."

I'll be 28 this month and though I do know what DH, DS, DD is, that's about it for most of the abbreviations used on these sites, haha!  I did learn the Dear/Darling thing when I was pregnant with my DS (7yr).
