Here's a thread to post anything random you want to say, but don't necessarily need a thread - or even a response!

Mine for today is:

I wish my boobs would stop having growth spurts.

Mine is:  I am ok with my belly sticking out.  Why on earth does my midsection insist on also growing WIDER?!!  sigh.

ugh! Seriously! Like, I'm going to have to buy up a bunch of nursing bras... Why can't the bras I have just please fit for the next six months! Nope, not happening.

This one has really been frustrating me.

I woke up this morning with a nasty cough and cold... which was bad enough. I really didn't need to throw up my entire lunch during a coughing fit this afternoon. Blech! Is it bedtime yet?

So, I mention at DD's dance class that my midwife loans me books about birth and parenting at every visit, and this one mom is like "ooh! I have one that I swear by, I'll bring it to you next time." So, she shows up and loans me a copy of.... Baby Wise. duh.gif

You think I'd be used to the boob growth by now, but I'm not.  Not pregnant I'm like a 34 or 36 and anywhere from a D - DD depending on my stage of nursing.  But right now I'm at a 36F and continually expanding.  I'm a little afraid to see what they will look like once my milk comes in.  Shortly after my daughter was born I was a 36G, I feel as though I might outdo that this time.  I have some bras that fit me in that size now, but they are super comfy bras, not ones that give me two proper breasts.

lol at two proper breasts. i hate that i have to choose between uniboob and discomfort :/

I totally get you on this one.  I was a 34G when I was nursing my middle son.  The other two aren't far behind.  At this point, I'm ALREADY hitting a 34G.  I'm terrified of what I'm going to have to shop for when it's time to talk nursing bras!  I couldn't find anything that size with my son.  Now I'm wondering how much harder it's going to be!

I have had to buy all new bras too and I am so over it.  I was a 34 C/D and I'm up to a 34DD, which is getting tight. I got a Breezies bra off Ebay for like $8 or $9 shipped, totally worth it. It gives me two proper breasts. I also have a Bravado from Target that is way more comfy but is not proper or flattering.  It could be worse, at least my butt isn't rapidly expanding...yet.

All this boob stuff is nuts. I hate that I feel average sized, but I have to order bras online. I have tried Lane Bryant, but they don't have many styles in a 36 band. And underwire digs into my pits and causes bumps. (checked out by a doctor)

I am starting to be really eager to feel some stronger movements and be able to notice them from the outside. I didn't get to feel strong kicks with my second pregnancy and I really want to feel them this time. I loved the under the rib kicks with my first! Loved them and I still think of them fondly smile.gif

This child seems to have found a direct line to the inside of my belly button and seems to spend hours a day poking it.   It's a combination of extreme ticklishness and pressure.

Norovirus is slowly sucking the life out of me. All I ate yesterday was a boiled potato. One. Boiled. Potato.  At one point in the night, I was puking in a bucket while my DH puked in the toilet...then my DD woke up to run to the bathroom and puke and, finding all the appropriate spots "taken"...just opened her mouth and puked all over the bathroom floor.

If you haven't had this, don't get it. It's wiping out my region right now and is highly contagious. I've never puked this much in my life...don't get me started on the "bad poops"...this is insane.

Dude it is SO bad. It's been tearing apart nursing homes and schools in this area. I tried SO hard to avoid it...we must have picked it up at the grocery store or something. My poor DH is weak like a little kitten. We're just laying around, doing absolutely nothing. Thank goodness my house is stocked with food supplies and I had a vat of chicken noodle soup thrown together before the worst of it hit. This is just out of control...I've never been ill like this. I'm trying to keep hydrated...but it's hard.

I always shudder when I hear of that hitting cruise ships.  I think that would be my worst nightmare.  I hope you guys are all on your way to healing.
