Teething in Austria

Any recommendations on a nonprescription product for teething? I've got a few things- Mam bite and brush, a cooler ring, and Hylands Teething Tablets that somebody sent me from the US. We've also tried a wet washcloth for DD to suck on, but she throws everything aside after a minute or two. Any German miracles out there that I'm not aware of?

There are two products that I am aware of and while I have both of them for DD, I am not convinced they do a whole lot.  Both have chamomile in them.  I am drawing a blank on the full names at the moment (and the bottles are in the room with my sleeping babe), but one is a gel and it starts with a "D"  Deno.....something.  The other one is Osanit, I believe.  They are little balls and you can give 8 every 15-30 minutes.  If nothing else, they are a good distraction.  I am assuming they would have them in Austria as in Germany.  You can also ask in the Apotheke....my German is horrid, but I can still get the point across in most instances.

Good luck

We use Osanit. I notice in the throes of intense teething it does help, especially with the general crankiness. Not sure if it's available in Austria but I should think so. We also use an amber teething necklace, this one: http://aber-natuerlich.de/bernsteinkette-baby-kinder-p-119.html

Besides that when it's real real bad we give ibuprofen or acetomenophen liquid. Good luck!
