Oh and I found this website: http://haveyouhadthatbabyyet.com/ hehee

Oh, maybe I'll try more nipple stimulation, or at least the hot pads;)

I've been doing different types of releases to hopefully be open for the baby, we'll see if that works.

Hello,

I am just joining this thread today as yesterday was my due date. I am really hoping for a Wednesday baby as I have had the 22nd in mind the whole time. Plus it would mean me, baby, and my mom would have our birthdays in a row. I was born one day shy of my moms 30th birthday, i joked with DH that we should try to make that happen to us last year. The we got pregnant, surprise!! and I may just get a baby one day before my 31st! i think that would be so cool!

Had a crazy day of nesting washing walls for several hours yesterday. But I am at peace with waiting...till Wednesday ;)

I'm here too, so far this has been a UP and the due date I was figuring out was around Feb 17-20. No baby yet. :( I've been having contractions and back pain but nothing yet.

Mama2myangels7, welcome - I don't wish "overdue" on any mama especially if you're an overthinker like me.... I must log on to this forum a hundred times a day / night. Sigh. I was put through the ringer today at the midwife appointment but thankfully everything is okay and I just want to go back to trusting and loving my body because it knows what it's doing.

Looks like you have a baby the same age as my DD, she was born 8/29/10 and I'm nervous about the transition but excited for her to have a little sibling!

I have an 8 year old, a 2 year old and an almost 18 month old.

They must be excited! I just noticed your littlest's birthdate and thought of my own little almost 18-monther.

Think this little one might be coming tonight or early tomorrow. Definitely having contractions.

Well, yesterday afternoon I really thought my body was revving up, but today has been pretty normal. I'm still hoping the new moon might bring some action, and i've had the 22nd in mind for quite some time (of course DS bday is 4/22).

I hate the mean tricks our bodies are playing. I'm hopeful for you all - keep us posted!

I am, as normal, having contractions throughout the day that aren't going anywhere or progressing or showing any type of rhythm... just another day in pregnancy world I guess.

I have been hoping for the 22nd as well, no signs yet still have 12 hours left though, maybe it will happen. Tomorrow is mt Birthday, sure wish baby would be here by then.

Nothing today, but I held my new niece (5 days old) in hopes that it would make this baby a little jealous and want to come out. I also downloaded the Hypnobabies Come Out Baby track. Since I'm planning a midwife-assisted HBAC, I will have to see an OB starting at 42 weeks and don't want to worry about that. Of course, I still can't believe that I could have a March baby if I go past 41w 3-4d. I'm just continuing to embrace the magic of this pregnancy by comparison to my pregnancy with DS. It's making the wait easier and finding the joy in letting nature takes its course.

okay, i'm making it official too: i'm overdue 40+3. baby was breech until 38 weeks, at 39 week appt, she was posterior, so still not positioned optimally. i feel like she's working on getting into the best position. i was glad she didn't come on or before my due date, because i tweaked my back and could hardly move my hips or lower back for several days, then i had a bad cold, right after that, but now i'm mostly better in both respects, so i'm ready. contemplating going back for accupuncture and maybe to the chiro to help with the positioning. the only thing is that the chiro is so far away and i don't drive... i just skipped my 40 week appointment, because they only had an appointment with the OB i mildly dislike (as opposed to one of the midwives), and at 39 weeks, she said i have lots of fluid and i feel her moving tons, so i'm comfortable she's fine. i didn't want to be pressured to get checked or talk about induction. if i don't give birth by 41 weeks, i'll go back, provided they can get me in with one of the midwives that i'm comfortable with. (i'm with an hmo where there are midwives and obs).

i've been having tons of braxton hixx contractions in the evening especially, and I had one time where I felt like I was having real contractions, every 5 minutes for 30-60 seconds (low menstrual cramp type contractions), like early labor, but then these stopped.

sigh.

DS1 came at 39 +5.

... I did clean the house top to bottom while ds1 was at preschool today including vacuuming all the nooks and crannies and washing the window screens. I'm appropriately nested now.

I totally feel you on the HMO and the waiting. My DD was 42+2 so I feel like I want to wait at least that long so long as baby is healthy. It's not easy when you get down to the end like this.

going for acupuncture tomorrow.

I've managed to be super productive every day this week until now. I ran a bunch of errands this morning and took DD to story time where everyone exclaimed "you're still pregnant?" nice. Then I got tired and down. After naps I just couldn't pull out. So I've been on the ball for an hour and not cooking or cleaning. greensad.gif

Well, I had quite the warm up labor yesterday. I'm sure it made some great changes for my body. Contractions every 5 minutes, lasting for 1 minute, for 5+ hours. Some were mild, some were moderate, and a few were really intense. 41 weeks this weekend so I'm hoping yesterday is a good sign of LO's birthday coming soon. It would be perfect for baby to arrive today or this weekend as DH has Fridays and Saturdays off and short workday on Sunday.
